Chris Jericho Counts Cost Of Orange Cassidy Payback
Chris Jericho has had to wait years for his money but now he’s finally been repaid his $7,000 by Orange Cassidy but not how he might have hoped.
It was back in 2020 that Orange Cassidy was first enveloped by the Jericho Vortex as the two men faced each other in a succession of matches. During their feud, Cassidy dumped gallons of orange juice on Jericho’s supposed designer jacket and after losing a match to Cassidy to get repaid the $7,000 the jacket was worth, four years later, The Learning Tree is still looking for reimbursement.
Chris Jericho stole Orange Cassidy’s backpack in the hope of luring him into a trade for his money and on Dynamite in Lexington, Cassidy had help from The Conglomeration in repaying the first-ever AEW World Champion.
Chris Jericho Gets His Cash
With Jericho in the ring alongside Big Bill and Bryan Keith demanding the money, Orange Cassidy appeared on the video screen before Mark Briscoe and Kyle O’Reilly were seen on a dumper truck as they dumped $7,000 worth of change all over Jericho’s new Bentley.

AEW Dynamite also saw Jon Moxley demand Darby Allin hand over his shot at the AEW World Title. Allin refused to do that and now Moxley will meet the former TNT Champion at Grand Slam with the title shot on the line.
A tag team casino gauntlet match was held and now The Young Bucks know who will challenge them for the AEW Tag Team Championship in Arthur Ashe Stadium on September 25th.
