Chris Bey

After suffering a serious broken neck, surgery to fuse his spine, and paralysis Chris Bey has walked to the ring for the first time since his injury.

During the October 27 2024 TNA TV tapings, Chris Bey suffered a serious neck injury during a match with The Hardys while teaming with Ace Austin.

As soon as it became apparent that Bey was injured the match was halted and he was taken away on a stretcher. Once at the hospital, Bey underwent surgery, but the exact nature of his injuries and condition were initially kept private.

However, it soon came to light that Bey had suffered a broken neck and was suffering paralysis leaving the wrestling community in fear that he might never walk again. Chris Bey has opened up about his experience of that fateful night and now everyone has a reason to celebrate as Bey appeared at a benefit show held for him.

The Future Stars of Wrestling Benefit for Bey event saw WWE’s Karrion Kross face former TNA star Hammerstone and it was after that match that the biggest pop of the night happened as Chris Bey walked to the ring.

As the fans chanted “Who’s house? Bey’s house” AEW star Swerve Strickland was seen joining in and agreeing with the sentiment before Bey asked his ABC tag team partner Ace Austin to join him in the ring as the two men embraced.

Incredibly, despite the extent of his injury, Chris Bey has not completely ruled out a return to the ring at some point in the future.
