Chelsea Green’s WWE Title Saved By Shock New Ally
Chelsea Green is building an army as a shock new recruit has come to her side and saved the WWE Women’s United States Championship for her.
In December 2024, Chelsea Green made history by becoming the first WWE Women’s United States Champion. Green defeated Michin in a tournament final to win that gold but she’s been unable to shake off Michin ever since. That led to a street fight being made for the title when SmackDown headed to Philadelphia on March 7.
Chelsea Green found herself at an immediate disadvantage as loyal sidekick Piper Niven had lost earlier in the evening against WWE Women’s Champion Tiffany Stratton and was still feeling the effects of the Prettiest Moonsault Ever.
Green and Michin got straight to the extreme when they got to the ring breaking out all manner of weapons. Niven eventually came to ringside to give Chelsea Green the upper hand but she was soon neutralised by a kendo stick-wielding B-Fab. Niven and B-Fab brawled through the crowd leaving Michin and Green alone again.
Chelsea Green Saved By Alba Fyre
Michin stacked up a pile of chairs in the middle of the ring before hitting the champion with Eat Defeat. It looked like a new champion was about to be crowned when a hooded figure pulled Green out of the ring. They then nailed Michin with a Canadian Destroyer on the pile of chairs before pulling Green back in the ring and on Michin to give her the victory. The mystery assailant then revealed themselves as Alba Fyre.
Alba Fyre has only appeared on two episodes of Main Event since WWE released her tag team partner Isla Dawn in early February 2025.
