Chelsea Green & WWE Champion Officially Challenging For AAA Title

Chelsea Green is going after a title in AAA with a current champion in WWE.

Chelsea Green has not been the same since she lost the WWE Women’s United States Championship to Zelina Vega back in April 2025. Worse was to come for Green with one member of her Secret Hervice taken out of action with a potentially career-ending injury.

One bright spot in her year was when Chelsea Green returned to NXT to join up with her Canadian compatriot Ethan Page, which led to them picking up a win in a mixed tag team match against Tavion Heights and Tyra Mae Steele at Heatwave.

And now Green is teaming up with the NXT North American Champion once again.

Chelsea Green Challenging For AAA Title

AAA posted on social media a suggestion that Chelsea Green and Ethan Page would be challenging for the AAA Mixed Tag Team Championship in the very near future:

Chelsea Green spelt out exactly what was to come in a video accompanying the post where she vowed to win the gold with Page:

On November 2nd in Monterrey, Mexico, Ethan Page and Chelsea Green plan to be your new AAA Mixed Tag Team Champions. Layedra, Mister Iguana. ¿How do you say it en Espanol? Ethan Page, Chelsea Green numero uno.

Mr Iguana and La Hiedra have held the AAA Mixed Tag Team Championship since December 2024, when they defeated Crazzy Steve and Havok for the gold. In 2022, AEW stars Sammy Guevara and Tay Conti held that gold for eight months.
