Chelsea Green Confesses To Having “Unique” Relationship With Male WWE Star

Chelsea Green

Chelsea Green has lifted the lid on her unique relationship with a male talent on WWE.

While recently speaking on Chris Van Vliet’s Insight, Green revealed that her alliance with NXT North American Champion Ethan Page was spontaneous.

However, their interactions have produced incredible on-screen chemistry, allowing them to shine during their backstage or in-ring segments on the company’s developmental brand.

Green, like Page, is a double champion as she holds the Women’s United States Championship along with the AAA World Mixed Tag Team Championship.

When the host asked about who in WWE pitched the idea to bring them together as a tag team, she said that she had no idea, but was thankful because it helped them form a unique bond unlike any other talent on the roster.

I don’t know who in NXT thought to put us together, but I owe them a lot of money. When Ethan gets called up, I owe them a lot of money. Yes, I don’t know, but it’s crazy.

I remember being backstage and listening to him out in the ring when I was going to come out and do the first promo with him. His facial expressions, and the sh*t that was coming out of his mouth was just like, Oh, my God, I couldn’t have said it any better.

And we actually get along too, which that’s rare. There’s also, like, something very unique about putting a man and a woman together who are in no way related or partners or anything. We just have a different dynamic than anyone else.

Chelsea Green Calls Wrestling Penta ‘The Best Decision I Ever Made’

In 2018, Chelsea Green fought Penta in an intergender match during Season 4 of Lucha Underground.

When rumors swirled about Penta joining WWE, the video of their match began to gain traction online. While speaking about the only match between them, Green called it the best decision she had ever made.

The best decision I ever made was that match. Because now, when someone says I suck at wrestling, someone else says, ‘But did you see the Penta match?’ And I’m like, yeah, yeah, that one match in 2018. He literally wrestled himself. Watch it again. He literally wrestled himself. But I digress. He is amazing, and so am I.
