Chelsea Green Reveals Bold New Moniker After WWE SmackDown
Chelsea Green returned to in-ring action this week on SmackDown.
The former WWE Women’s United States Champion had suffered a broken nose at Saturday Night’s Main Event on May 24.
Zelina Vega, her opponent during the match, went for a 619, but failed to seamlessly execute it. The botched move left Green with a bloodied nose, keeping her out temporarily.
Although Green appeared on WWE shows in the subsequent weeks, she would wear a protective mask.
She later clarified that she was lucky not to be gravely injured and would be returning to wrestling soon.
This week, the Canadian superstar faced Charlotte Flair in a singles competition.
Although she came to the ring wearing a bedazzled mask, she took it off during the closing minutes.
Charlotte ultimately won with the figure-eight leglock submission.

On last week’s SmackDown, Green was scheduled to compete in a four-way qualifying match in the Queen of the Ring Tournament.
Her opponents were Alexa Bliss, Charlotte Flair, and Candice LeRae.
However, Green failed to show up for the taping due to “missing her flight,” resulting in manager Nick Aldis replacing her with Alba Fyre.
During a recent Lightweights Podcast with Joe Vulpis, Green expressed interest in competing at the upcoming all-women’s Evolution 2 PLE on July 13.
