Chelsea Green Pushing To Get NXT Star Onto Main Roster

Chelsea Green is a woman on a mission.

Ethan Page and Chelsea Green were somewhat thrown together back in July, but since then, their partnership has blossomed.

While working together, Page has continued to hold the North American Title, and the duo recently beat La Hiedra and Mr. Iguana to claim the AAA World Mixed Tag Team Championship.

It was reported as far back as August that the partnership had been so successful that it could see Ethan Page move to the main roster. And if nothing else, it seems that Chelsea Green is doing all she can to make it happen.

In a new interview with Good Karma Wrestling, Page said that his tag team partner is trying to help him graduate from NXT while praising their tremendous chemistry.

“I’m pretty sure that she’s just doing everything in her power to get me on the main roster… Every interview that she’s ever done, she has openly stated that she’s doing everything in her power to have me move up along her side.

I honestly have no clue (how Chelsea & I got paired together). I welcome it. I think we have very good chemistry. Both of us are very, very colorful performers, and also very dangerous in the ring and have a dark side and I’m hoping that the longer she hangs out with me, the worse she starts behaving and the darker things can get for Chelsea Green.

But yeah, if she takes my advice at least, she’ll be probably breaking jaws by the end of the year.”

Chelsea Green Looking To Help Ex-WWE Star

In recent days, Chelsea Green has been supporting a GoFundMe campaign for Ridge Holland after he was released by WWE. Holland was informed he wouldn’t be given a new contract after undergoing surgery on a serious foot injury, which is set to keep him out of action for several months.

After Holland highlighted how he’d been treated by the company and his worries about paying his mortgage, his contract was cut early.

Green pledged $1000 per month to the campaign, while Omos, Nick Jackson, Kyle Fletcher, and Raj Dhesi (Jinder Mahal) all donated $1000 each.

Green and Page are set to defend their AAA Tag Team Championship against Joe Hendry and Thea Hail at NXT Gold Rush.
