Chelsea Green Missed WWE Show After Being Rushed To Hospital

Chelsea Green was reportedly taken to the emergency room due to a health scare.

The former Women’s United States Champion missed the June 13 episode of SmackDown despite being scheduled to face Charlotte Flair, Alexa Bliss, and Candice LeRae in a Queen of the Ring qualifier.

Green’s absence was explained on-screen as she Facetimed SmackDown General Manager from the poolside, demanding that he postpone her match. However, he refused and replaced her with her Secret Hervice member, Alba Fyre.

A recent report from Fightful Select claimed the reason behind Green’s absence from the show was far more serious. The 34-year-old had a sinus infection that caused hearing loss, and ultimately an emergency room visit.

Green returned to the blue brand the following week. She went on to lose to Charlotte Flair in a one-on-one match.

Only one match has been officially announced for Evolution 2 so far. NXT Women’s Champion Jacy Jayne will defend her title against Jordynne Grace.

Chelsea Green addressed her potential plans for the returning premium live event on the Lightweights Podcast. She expressed her desire to have a “Loser Leave Canada” match against WWE Hall of Famer Trish Stratus and Natalya.

The 34-year-old also pitched a Hair vs. Hair match against WWE Hall of Famer Nikki Bella.
