Chelsea Green Pushed For Insane Finish To WWE Match, Triple H’s Reaction

Chelsea Green made an interesting remark about a crazy match she had in WWE and how Triple H reacted to her finish idea.

It was one year ago on the October 4, 2024 edition of WWE SmackDown when Chelsea Green faced Michin in a Dumpster Match. The rivalry had become very personal, so they decided to settle things with a dumpster.

A Dumpster Match is rare in WWE. To end the match, a wrestler has to put their opponent into the dumpster and close the lid to declare themselves the winner.

The ending of the Green-Michin Dumpster Match saw Michin get the win when she hit a Powerbomb off the apron while putting Green through a table that was in the dumpster. A finish like that requires a lot of trust between opponents, and obviously, those two ladies had that.

In a post on X/Twitter, Chelsea Green remarked that she pushed very hard for the finish while also thanking her boss, WWE CCO Triple H, for trusting her.

I can’t wait to tell you all one day how hard I pushed for this finish. I’m so grateful my boss trusts me, even when he doesn’t want me to do something LOL

It was about two months after that match at Saturday Night’s Main Event when Green beat Michin in the finals of a tournament to become the first Women’s US Champion in WWE history.

Chelsea Green Has Hollywood Ambitions

The former Women’s US Champion, Chelsea Green, is known for being a unique character on WWE television, as she is willing to do or say anything to capture the spotlight.

During a recent interview, Chelsea Green spoke about how she was hoping to get some acting and hosting roles in Hollywood.

“I’ve been auditioning for role after role, and trying to dabble in the hosting space as well. I’m trying to start at the bottom and not cut corners. I want to do it the right way and gain respect within film and TV—not get there because I had it handed to me on a WWE silver platter.”

Green also mentioned that she and her husband, Matt Cardona, have dinner dates with WWE legend John Cena and his wife, Shay.

“My husband and I go on double dates with John and Shay every couple of months, and the knowledge that comes out of him is incredible. He totally has my back, and if I just continue to touch base with him, I’ll continue to get those little bits of information and advice that are so crucial when you’re on this journey of trying to figure out what you want to do next.”

Regarding the Dumpster Match, Chelsea Green also shared a photo of her posing with the dumpster before the match.
