Chelsea Green Suffered Real Injury At WWE Legend’s Hands

Chelsea Green recently recalled being legitimately hurt by a WWE legend.

Even before signing with the Stamford promotion, Green was featured in a segment in 2014 involving Brie Bella and Stephanie McMahon.

Both Bella and McMahon had an ongoing feud over Daniel Bryan’s suspension due to injury, which led to Brie quitting the promotion in protest.

The subsequent weeks saw Stephanie punish Brie’s sister, Nikki Bella, by putting her in matches with unfair stipulations.

During the in-ring segment, McMahon claimed that Bryan had been having an affair with his physical therapist, Megan Miller, portrayed by Chelsea Green.

Stephanie kept adding fuel to the fire, which led to Brie Bella slapping Megan before applying the Yes Lock on her boss.

While appearing on a recent episode of Chris Van Vliet’s Insight, Chelsea Green revealed the behind-the-scenes details that resulted in her landing the WWE gimmick in 2014.

She went on to claim that it was the first promo ever despite having competed in the indies for a few months.

I had never picked up a microphone, I don’t even think in high school. I’d done presentations in university, that’s about as far as my public speaking skills went. So imagine [how I felt]. They kept saying at the end, ‘Oh, you did so good. You looked so nervous.’ Yeah, no, sh*t! I’m like, how do you hold a microphone? I don’t know.

Green further mentioned that Brie Bella’s slap popped her eardrum.

The whole thing is so crazy, but so iconic. And Brie slapped the hell out of me, popped my eardrum. It was amazing, honestly, it was everything I could have ever dreamt of and more.
