Chelsea Green Sends Farewell Message After WWE Title Loss

Chelsea Green has issued a farewell message after she surprisingly lost her WWE Women’s United States Championship on SmackDown.

Chelsea Green will forever be the first WWE Women’s US Champion after winning the title back in December 2024. Green embraced the role and acted as an ambassador for the US despite herself being Canadian. Piper Niven and Alba Fyre formed Green’s own Secret Her-vice to assist her where needed, but everything fell apart for Green on SmackDown in Fort Worth.

Green put her WWE Women’s US Title on the line against Zelina Vega, a woman who had defeated Green twice before WrestleMania. Vega made it third time lucky on SmackDown as she pinned Green to win her first-ever singles WWE championship.

Chelsea Green Says Goodbye

Now, following that loss, the ever-dramatic Chelsea Green has taken to social media to issue a farewell message as she posted a photo of the US Capitol with the flag at half mast, accompanied by the statement:

Goodbye for now @WWE This is my farewell address

It is not believed that Chelsea Green is actually taking time away from WWE following her title loss, her message could just play into the fact that she no longer represents the United States as their champion anymore.
