Chelsea Green Makes Extremely Personal Revelation

Chelsea Green has opened up about her WWE career, which is causing her to make some big decisions in her personal life.

As a WWE superstar on the SmackDown brand, Chelsea Green is a former Women’s U.S. Champion and a Women’s Tag Team Champion, often featured regularly on television.

Green is a unique character known for being over-the-top and comedic at times. Due to the uniqueness of her character, she is often cheered by the fans even though, as a heel, she’s supposed to be booed.

Outside the ring, Chelsea Green is married to fellow wrestler Matt Cardona, who many WWE fans know as the former Zack Ryder. During his WWE run, which lasted over a decade, Cardona experienced considerable success until the company released him in 2020.

Matt Cardona actually competed in a WWE ring for the first time in five years on NXT when he faced Josh Briggs in NXT this past Tuesday. Cardona was representing TNA, even though he was not under contract to the company.

While speaking to Woman’s World, the 34-year-old Green said that she and her husband really want to have kids, but she has delayed it because she returned to WWE in early 2023 and wanted to put her career first.

“We put it on pause when I was asked to come back to WWE. This was an opportunity we both knew we could not turn down. If I turn it down, I’m going to end up having kids and resent the family life.”

As she continued, Green summed up where she is in life.

“So here I am. I’m 34. I’m dying for babies. My husband wants babies… but duty calls. I’m making money. I’m living my dream.”
