Chelsea Green Announces Bizarre WWE Ban
Chelsea Green has announced a ban on wedgies in WWE following a humiliating incident on the 14th February edition of SmackDown.
Reigning WWE Women’s United States Champion Green battled Naomi for a coveted spot in this year’s Elimination Chamber match in the Premium Live Event of the same name on 1st March.
The two Superstars were attempting to join the already qualified Liv Morgan, Bayley, Alexa Bliss and Bianca Belair in the brutal bout that will emanate from Toronto’s Rogers Center, with the winner earning a shot at the Women’s World Championship currently held by Rhea Ripley at WrestleMania 41.
During the bout, which was won by Naomi, Chelsea Green was on the receiving end of an embarrassing wedgie from her opponent to the delight of the fans in attendance at Capital One Arena in Washington, D.C.
Green took to social media in response to the unfortunate incident, issuing a humorous statement calling for the banning of wedgies in professional wrestling:
“From The Office of Chelsea Green
The (first ever) Women’s United States Champion
February 15, 2025Dear Concerned Citizens, On the evening of Friday, February 14, 2025, the defendant, or as I say the culprit, Nasty Naomi, orchestrated a premeditated, juvenile and inhumane attack on your United States Champion. Earlier today my cabinet and I held an emergency vote.
In jurisdiction with Code 4292 of the penal agreement, and an unanimous vote of 99-1, I hereby ban the use of wedgies during professional wrestling matches. Any further use of said “move” can and will result in permanent banishment from my ring.
To my loyal followers of our beloved nation, I will not stand for this tyranny. Please rest assured you may continue to pledge your allegiance to Chelsea Green with the utmost confidence.
This will be my final comment on this matter.”
