Charlotte Flair Wants “Big Stadium Match” With WWE Star
Charlotte Flair has her sights set on a huge bout with Bianca Belair.
The 14-time WWE Women’s Champion is currently absent from the ring after suffering a serious knee injury in a bout with Asuka during the Tribute To The Troops taping on 8th December 2023.
Flair is believed to have suffered a torn ACL, MCL, and meniscus after an unfortunate fall from the tope rope, with a recovery time expected to be in the region of 9 months.
The North Carolina native appeared in good spirits during promotional appearances ahead of WrestleMania XL,however, and has already name her dream opponent for a huge future Premium Live Event match.
Speaking during a WrestleMania week appearance at WWE World, ‘The Queen’ was quick to select ‘The EST of WWE’ Bianca Belair as the opponent she most wanted to step into the ring with in front of a stadium audience:
“I really want that one-on-one moment with Bianca Belair. I really do.
Bianca and I, our history, her athleticism, I respect her so much as a talent. Bianca is the first opponent I would like to have a big stadium show with.”
Flair would also take the time to praise SmackDown Superstar Tiffany Stratton for her recent work and stated her desire to face the former NXT Women’s Champion in the future:
“After Bianca, give it for Tiffany. I could not be more proud of her. Seeing her, watching her from home, watching her in Australia. She owns it. She’s going to be a big deal.”
Charlotte Flair Pushed For Return Of Top WWE Star
Despite being absent from in-ring competition in recent months, it is believed that Flair made have made her feelings known about the signing of a former AEW talent.
Perhaps unsurprisingly, reports have suggested that Charlotte pushed hard for WWE to resign her husband Andrade following his departure from Tony Khan’s organisation.
