Charlotte Flair Gives Update On Recovery As She Plots WWE Comeback

Charlotte Flair

Charlotte Flair is closing on a return to the ring.

The most successful female star in WWE history Charlotte Flair has been out of action after suffering a serious knee injury in early December. During a match with Asuka, Flair suffered a torn ACL, MCL, and meniscus and quickly underwent surgery.

At the time it was reported the star would be out of action for nine months, but she’s doing her best to make a mockery of that timeline.

In a new post on Instagram, Flair gave an update on her recovery, revealing she passed her targets on her most recent strength test.

“Today, was my first biodex (isokinetic training) test! I needed to be in the 40 percent or less deficit for strength compared to my non surgical leg…..I had 20 percent or less quad strength and in some of the measurements I was stronger in my surgical leg…I MISS YOU GUYS & can’t wait to lace my boots again!”

Charlotte Flair Secures New Movie Role

Despite being out of action, Charlotte Flair’s career has continued to go from strength to strength. In May it was revealed Flair will star opposite Freddy Rodriguez in the new Averted Vision Pictures indie horror/thriller You Lose You Die, written by Carlos “Spiff TV” Suarez. Pre-production is already underway, and Suarez is set to make his directorial debut.

Earlier in her absence, Flair signed a new deal with WWE which will keep her tied to the company for “several years.”
