Charlotte Flair Set For Unusual Appearance Amid WWE Absence

Charlotte Flair

Charlotte Flair has been missing from WWE television since WrestleMania 39 but The Queen is set to make an appearance at SuperHole IV.

At WrestleMania 39, Charlotte Flair lost the SmackDown Women’s Championship to 2023 Royal Rumble winner Rhea Ripley. PWInsider reported that following the loss, Flair was set for some time away from the company and would be traveling with her husband and AEW star Andrade El Idolo:

Charlotte Flair will be taking time off from WWE, PWInsiderElite.com has confirmed. We are told that Flair informed WWE she would be taking a break from the company over Wrestlemania 39 weekend. WWE’s creative plans for the Smackdown Women’s Championship, moving it to Rhea Ripley, were locked in place before Flair told WWE she would be taking a break.

“Flair is not expected to appear at this week’s SmackDown and we are told she was telling those backstage that she and husband Andrade were going to travel. There is no word how long the hiatus will be, but it was a Flair decision, not a WWE Creative move.”

Now it seems that Charlotte Flair is set to try her hand at another sport when she takes part in the Johnsonville SuperHole IV. Ticketmaster noted the following about the event which takes place in Miami, Florida on May 5th:

“The American Cornhole League comes to Miami for the second SuperHole IV event of the season! Watch Jersey Shore’s Vinny, WWE’s Charlotte Flair, Real Housewives’ Marysol Patton, and Keeping up with the Kardashian’s Food God as they compete alongside ACL Pros in a live ACL Cornhole ESPN broadcast.”

Charlotte Flair remains on SmackDown following the WWE Draft but it remains unknown when she will return to the ring.
