Charlotte Flair Remaining Positive About WWE Return
Charlotte Flair is out of action with a serious injury but the star is remaining upbeat despite being set to miss out on WrestleMania for the second time in four years.
Charlotte Flair suffered a serious knee injury during a match on SmackDown on December 8th against Asuka. Flair suffered a torn ACL, MCL, and meniscus with WWE noting that she was set to miss nine months from the ring which may have also put her SummerSlam ambitions on hold in 2024. However, Flair could be back by then after all.
Speaking on CNBC Power Lunch, Charlotte Flair gave an update on her condition noting that she’s ahead of schedule in her recovery and wants nothing more than to return to the WWE ring to win her fifteenth world title:
I’m six weeks out Thursday. I’m ahead of schedule, and every day, all I can think about is returning back to the ring, especially with all the excitement with Raw going to Netflix, WrestleMania 40 in Philadelphia, all I can think about is getting back and winning that number 15.
Charlotte Flair Joined By Husband In WWE
Since her latest injury, Charlotte Flair’s husband Andrade has re-joined WWE following a spell in AEW. Andrade made his surprise return to the company as the fourth entrant in the 2024 men’s Royal Rumble match. The Mexican star lasted just under 23 minutes in the match before he was eliminated by Bronson Reed.
