In her freshman year, Charlotte was trying out for varsity volleyball. While running the mile, she intentionally held back to blend in with the older players. That’s when she heard her father’s unmistakable voice screaming from the sidelines. The Nature Boy wasn’t just shouting from the stands. He ran alongside the fence, yelling at his daughter to run faster with every step.
