Charlotte Flair Injured On WWE SmackDown

Charlotte Flair could be counting the cost of a mishap on WWE SmackDown with concern that she could be suffering from an injury.

On SmackDown in Providence, RI Charlotte Flair faced off with Asuka as the issues between the two teams that competed in WarGames at Survivor Series continued to rumble on.

After a commercial break during the bout, Flair appeared to be working hurt and now PWInsider has shed more light on what happened to The Queen.

Concern Over Charlotte Flair’s Knee

Their report noted that during the commercial break, Charlotte Flair and Asuka had been setting up for a move when Flair slipped which caused her knee to get wrenched in the ropes and Flair to strike her head. This was not shown on TV after returning from the break.

Asuka won the match and afterwards, Flair was walked to the back by officials where she underwent medical evaluation by WWE. Some talents were noted to be specifically concerned about Flair’s knee.

Elsewhere on SmackDown, CM Punk referenced his AEW fights during a promo where he also took aim at Seth Rollins. The tournament to find a number one contender for the WWE US Title also got underway with Santos Escobar and Bobby Lashley both advancing.
