Charlotte Flair Ignored WWE Instructions In Famous WrestleMania Match

Charlotte Flair

Charlotte Flair was determined to make one particular WrestleMania match a success.

Speaking in a new interview with Rick Ucchino for Cageside Seats, Ronda Rousey opened up about her WWE career, and WrestleMania main event alongside Becky Lynch and Charlotte Flair. Although the match made history as the first all-female match to headline the show, Rousey was left disappointed, claiming it could have been better than just “good enough.”

The match marked the end of Rousey’s first run with WWE, but by the time she came back, she claimed the company “refused to work” with her as she pushed for a singles match with The Man to continue their rivalry. The former UFC star became so frustrated that she threatened to quit unless she could work with Shayna Baszler instead, and subsequently dropped the SmackDown Women’s Title.

This paved the way for Flair to defend the title against Rhea Ripley at WrestleMania 39.

“Charlotte Flair Threw Her Big D*ck On The Table” – Ronda Rousey

The match between Ripley and Flair was subsequently hailed as one of the best women’s matches in American history and praised across the board. However, the match almost looked very different.

In the interview, Rousey claimed the match was actually scheduled to end long before it did, but Flair “threw he big d*ck on the table” to ensure the match continued.

“They weren’t supposed to go that long. The whole time the referee is telling them to go backstage and Charlotte threw her big d*ck on the table and said no, we’re gonna do this awesome f—-ing match. And that’s what [the women are] dealing with. They’re not allowed to show how f—-ing amazing they are, because ‘Oh, the crowd’s gonna be tired for the guys match afterward.’ That’s bull s—-!”

During the interview, Ronda Rousey discussed her frustration with WWE, branding Vince McMahon a “f*cking sicko” in the process.

Rousey hasn’t wrestled for WWE since being defeated by Shayna Baszler at SummerSlam 2023.
