“She’s The Greatest Female Wrestler Of All-Time” – Wrestling Legend On Charlotte Flair
Charlotte Flair is the most decorated woman in WWE history and she’s also being called the greatest female wrestler of all-time by her legendary father.
During her WWE career that started nearly a decade ago, Charlotte Flair has won the most Women’s Titles in WWE history and it’s really not close. Charlotte is a former six-time Raw Women’s Champion, six-time Smackdown Women’s Champion, she was the last woman to hold the Divas Title and also held the NXT Women’s Title twice. In addition to that, she was part of the first women’s WrestleMania main event in 2019.
Ric Flair is the legendary father of Charlotte, who isn’t shy about talking about how great his daughter is. On a recent episode of his “To Be The Man” podcast, Ric talked about his daughter while also suggesting a Charlotte feud with Raw Women’s Champion Bianca Belair.
“Absolutely, and probably in the best shape of her life. I think it’s probably a mutual decision between her and the company as to when she comes back. It’ll be I would assume under the perfect circumstance. She’s the best wrestler, she’s the greatest female wrestler of all time. Like I said before, to have two legit world-class athletes. I mean, yeah, you could write the story itself. NCAA track star you know, strength, coordination, athleticism. Bianca Belair [vs.] Charlotte flair. It’s a man event in itself.”
Charlotte has been off WWE television since losing the Smackdown Women’s Title to Ronda Rousey at WrestleMania Backlash in May. Shortly after that, she married Andrade El Idolo, who works for AEW. The couple met when he was in WWE.
The latest update on Charlotte’s return was in mid-October with a report noting that she was scheduled to return soon. Earlier in October, Charlotte’s husband Andrade said Charlotte “has time off due to personal reasons and she will specify them in future interviews.”
The first-ever Women’s WarGames match for the WWE main roster was announced this past Monday on Raw with Bianca Belair teaming up with Alexa Bliss, Asuka and two unannounced partners while Damage CTRL (Bayley, IYO SKY & Dakota Kai) will team up with Nikki Cross and another partner to be determined. Perhaps Charlotte Flair will be back for Survivor Series in one of those unannounced spots, but that is unknown at this time.
