Charlotte Flair Fires Back At Critics In New Video Hyping WWE Return
Charlotte Flair is in a feisty mood as she prepares to return to WWE.
It’s been 13 long months since Charlotte Flair last stepped into a WWE ring, but her injury nightmare is almost over.
In early December 2023, Flair suffered a major knee injury in a match against Asuka and subsequently underwent surgery. Since then she’s been working hard to resume her career, and a comeback now seems closer than ever.
In recent weeks it’s been reported that the star is now listed on WWE’s internal active roster once more, while she’s been pictured training with several NXT stars. Flair was also spotted backstage during the January 14th edition of NXT.
Following on from that visit, Flair has now upped the excitement around her return.
Charlotte Flair – “It’s Me Vs. Me”
In a new video posted on social media titled “It’s me vs. me,” Flair is shown putting on a knee brace before breaking into a run as she vows to prove the critics wrong.
“Charlotte.
She’s selfish. She’s just Ric Flair’s daughter. She’s gonna come back washed. She’s not even that good. Oh, she’s been handed everything.
You’re gonna prove them wrong.
Ashley, get out of your f*cking head.”

Meanwhile, it’s been reported that follow absentee Becky Lynch has signed a new contract as she prepares to make her own return. Lynch has been on hiatus since letting her WWE contract expire on June 1st, 2024.
It’s also been claimed that a WWE return for Alexa Bliss is now “on the horizon.” Bliss has been absent for almost two years, with her most recent match coming at the 2023 Royal Rumble against Bianca Belair.
