Charlotte Flair Looking To Leave Comfort Zone Alongside Alexa Bliss
Charlotte Flair wants to make some changes.
In recent weeks, Alexa Bliss and Charlotte Flair have come to an agreement on SmackDown that saw them team up to defeat Michin & B-Fab, and the Secret Hervice.
Flair and Bliss will now challenge for the Women’s Tag Team Championship in a Fatal-Four-Way Match at Evolution, also featuring Zaria & Sol Ruca, Kairi Sane & Asuka, and champions Raquel Rodriguez and Roxanne Perez.
Flair has previously only held tag team gold once, holding the titles with Asuka for 42 days from late 2020 into early 2021.
During a new interview with USA TODAY, Flair discussed her new partnership with Bliss and explained how it will benefit her character in the long run.
“I think trying to blend the two will just add layers to ‘The Queen’ that we’ve seen so stoic for so many years. Pushing myself to get outside of my comfort zone of what The Queen is and what does that look like? Is it the mad queen? Is it the killer queen? Is it the unraveled queen? Is it best friends with Lexi and being a twisted queen?”
Charlotte Flair Reflects On Disappointment
In a new article in the Players Tribune penned by the woman herself, Charlotte Flair painfully admitted that she’s felt like a loser for much of her life, despite what her character portrays on television.
In the searingly honest piece, Flair said she’d disappointed friends and family, given up on herself, and felt a sense of failure following her recent divorce.
Flair went on to discuss her already infamous SmackDown segment with Tiffany Stratton, admitting she was devastated at her rival’s jab at her personal life. She said while in the ring, she felt like the boos from the crowd were for “Ashley” and not “Charlotte,” and that was something she struggled to deal with.
