Charlotte Flair Feels Alexa Bliss Is Mad At Her For Strange WWE Moment
Charlotte Flair spoke about her history with Alexa Bliss and why Bliss might be mad at her.
There is a perception among WWE fans that Charlotte Flair wins a lot. It’s a fair opinion because the “Queen” of WWE has won the various versions of the Women’s Title 14 times on the main roster, which is by far the most in WWE history.
Flair won this year’s Royal Rumble for the second time, but she failed to win the WWE Women’s Title from Tiffany Stratton at WrestleMania 41. Flair also was unable to qualify for the Women’s Money in the Bank Ladder Match and didn’t advance in the Queen of the Ring tournament.
The good news for Charlotte Flair is that she’s involved in a storyline on SmackDown with another former WWE Women’s Champion, Alexa Bliss. The story is that Bliss has tried to befriend Flair because of the many other women working together, so if they could get on the same page, then perhaps they could do well together. Flair has refused Bliss, claiming that she didn’t need friends.
Flair and Bliss do have a legitimate history together, as they were in NXT together, joined the main roster around the same time a decade ago, and both women have had a lot of success. Flair may be taller and stronger, but Bliss is a unique character with a genuine connection to the fans.
Charlotte Flair Feels Like Working With Alexa Bliss Is Natural
During an appearance on the Nikki & Brie Show podcast hosted by The Bella Twins, Charlotte Flair spoke about how she feels working with Bliss.
“I call her Blisster. We have so much history from coming up together in NXT. The main roster. We’ve been in partial feuds, but never a long ongoing one. To see where this is going and being back with her, it’s fun. It’s natural. We have chemistry.”
After Nikki mentioned that Charlotte and Bliss are good at doing a staredown, Flair recalled a moment from their past.
“Lexi has a good [staredown]. She’s still mad at me for tearing up Lilly a couple of years ago.” (laughs)
