Massive Championship Match Announced For WWE Clash In Paris

A huge championship match has been added to the Clash in Paris card tonight on WWE RAW.

On August 4, Nikki Bella confronted Becky Lynch on RAW to express her interest in the Women’s Intercontinental Championship. After taking massive personal shots at The Fearless One, The Man landed a cheap shot on the Hall of Famer before retreating from the ring.

Last week, Lynch defeated Natalya in an Intercontinental Title match on RAW. As the champion attacked the WWE veteran after the bout, Bella rushed to her aid, taking out The Man.

Tonight on the red brand, Bella and Lynch again stood face-to-face.

Nikki Bella Challenged Becky Lynch On WWE RAW

As Becky Lynch insulted the Birmingham crowd, she was interrupted by Nikki Bella. The Hall of Famer challenged The Man for an Intercontinental Championship match. However, the latter brushed her off, dubbing Bella a “broken neck Barbie.”

The Hall of Famer then brought up that she kicked Lynch’s “a**” last week. She also bragged about paving the way for Lynch to succeed in WWE. While The Man acknowledged Bella’s influence on the business, she claimed she did not care. The Women’s Intercontinental Champion said that she did not want to respect Bella; she wanted to replace her.

Bella responded by claiming Lynch wanted to replace her because she was afraid to face her. She also took a massive shot at The Man, reminding her of being “Charlotte Flair’s sidekick” in her early WWE days, to which Lynch took great offense.

The Women’s Intercontinental Champion finally agreed to defend her title against Bella after the latter called her a coward. Nevertheless, she refused to do it in Birmingham, revealing that they will fight in Paris this Sunday. Lynch then tried to take a cheap shot at her upcoming challenger, but the Hall of Famer reversed and was about to hit the Rack Attack on the Irish star when the latter escaped and retreated.
