Ex-Champion Looking To Train With Natalya, WWE Speculation Grows

A former AEW star plans to train with WWE’s Natalya, fuelling speculation that they will sign with the company.

On March 26th, Saraya announced she was leaving AEW, six months before her contract officially expires in September. Since then, there has been speculation that the former Paige will be heading back to WWE. The star herself has made no secret of her openness to going back to the company where she spent over a decade of her career before departing in 2022.

In a new interview with TV Insider, the 2-time Divas Champion revealed that she is hoping to train with her former WWE rival Natalya soon.

“I would like to get back in the ring this year and really train and find myself again. I feel like I didn’t do that the past couple of years. I want to do the training side of things. I want to go to Nattie’s training school and get in the ring with her. That’s my focus this year.”

Besides training, Saraya has some WWE-centric goals in mind “down the line,” saying she wants to compete in the Royal Rumble and Elimination Chamber for the first time.

“I didn’t get to do a Royal Rumble or an Elimination Chamber or anything I didn’t get to do. Maybe down the line I will get to do them, who knows?”

Looking back on her career in the company in another recent interview, Saraya wants fans to know she “had a good time” in AEW. The star says she is happy to have been part of the storylines she was given and to work with the women in the promotion.
