Major Champion Reacts To Chris Jericho Possibly Returning To WWE
WWE fans are constantly discussing Chris Jericho’s return to WWE, especially since his AEW contract expired.
The former AEW Champion is supposedly heading to the global juggernaut, but there hasn’t been any official confirmation about it.
Fans had hoped that Jericho would return to WWE on the January 5th, 2026 episode of Monday Night RAW, but WWE clearly has other plans.
The Undisputed WWE Champion reacts to Chris Jericho’s possible return
The new Undisputed WWE Champion Drew McIntyre, spoke about Y2J’s possible return to the company with TMZ. This was before The Scottish Warrior dethroned Cody Rhodes on SmackDown. McIntyre revealed that he had spent quite a bit of his youth with Jericho. Furthermore, he claimed that Jericho will make a splash wherever he goes, so if it’s WWE, that would be great!
Chris Jericho is one of my friends. I spent a lot of my youth with him. He’s a massive, massive star, and at this point in his life and career, whatever makes him happy makes me happy. He’s gonna make a huge splash wherever he goes. If it’s for us, why not? [H/t: TMZ]

It has been reported that while Chris Jericho has agreed to a WWE return, the former champion is keen on working with TNA as well. This could be written into his contract if he re-signs with the company.
