Cash Wheeler can finally move on.

It was reported on August 18, 2023, that Cash Wheeler (real name Daniel Wheeler) had been arrested on charges of aggravated assault with a firearm. The alleged incident took place weeks earlier on July 27.

According to a police report, Wheeler’s alleged victim claimed that the star was “pointing a black semi-automatic handgun out of the driver’s window at him with a strong stare.”

A trial date was initially set for May 2024, but prosecutors dropped the case before that date arrived.

During an interview that September, Dax Harwood revealed he’d talked Cash Wheeler out of retiring as the star became overwhelmed by the whirlwind surrounding him.

Good News For Cash Wheeler

As reported by Mike Johnson of PWInsider, Wheeler’s legal record has now been expunged of the 2023 incident. An official ruling wiping his record clean was filed on May 5, 2025.

Back in the ring, Harwood and Wheeler officially turned heel at Dynasty in April with a brutal attack on Adam Copeland. The pair later joined forces with Stokely Hathaway and continued to take out everyone who stepped in their way. This included demolishing Nigel McGuinness and Daniel Garcia at Double or Nothing.
