Carmelo Hayes Deletes Joe Hendry Threat After NXT Namedrop

Carmelo Hayes WWE NXT

Carmelo Hayes is furious after he was dragged into a heated feud in NXT with embarrassing footage being aired.

Joe Hendry and Trick Williams have been at odds ever since Hendry set his sights on the NXT Championship following his surprise WrestleMania match against Randy Orton.

Trick Williams shocked everyone when he attacked Joe Hendry at TNA Rebellion after Hendry had successfully defended his TNA World Championship. At Battleground on May 25, the Scottish star will put that title on the line against Williams. Before then, however, it was time for music to take centre stage.

In echoes of The Rock and John Cena’s legendary feud, the May 20 edition of NXT saw both Trick Williams and Joe Hendry host their own concerts. Williams rapped about his opponent being an “Average Joe”, while Hendry reminded Williams of something embarrassing from his past.

Joe Hendry’s concert focused on Williams’ past as Carmelo Hayes’ sidekick or “Melo’s b*tch” as Hendry succinctly put it. Hendry then played footage of Hayes and Williams running and screaming around a haunted house. And Melo is not happy.

Carmelo Hayes took to social media, where he issued a warning to Hendry: “Keep saying his name, and he might appear.” However, Hayes must have thought better of the threat as he quickly deleted the post.
