Carmella Still Wants WWE Return Despite Chronic Condition
Carmella has given the latest update on the state of her health as she confirms she’s still hoping to one day make it back into a WWE ring.
Carmella has not wrestled in 21 months as she and WWE announcer Corey Graves welcomed their first child together into the world in November 2023.
Carmella developed a medical condition during the delivery of her son and as a result, is still no closer to making a WWE comeback.
Speaking to Bayley on Instagram Live, Carmella gave the latest update on her condition and revealed she still wants to make her comeback to wrestling despite her lengthy absence:
I love being a mom. It’s the best thing I’ve ever done ever, in my whole entire life. That being said, of course I miss WWE. Of course, I miss everyone. I miss being Carmella. I miss performing. I miss it so much. I wish I had an update for you guys.
For those that don’t know I have some nerve damage in my foot from delivering Dimitri. I have what’s called drop foot. It’s this nerve behind your knee. It sucks.
I wrestled for ten to twelve years, never had an injury, knock on wood, and now I’m doing physical therapy, going to the chiropractor, getting MRIs, and doing all this stuff that I never thought I would be doing, but here we are. Hopefully, eventually, nerves do take a lot of time to heal, but eventually, we’ll get back to it.
When Did Carmella Last Wrestle In WWE?
Carmella hasn’t wrestled since appearing at a live event on March 12th, 2023 where she teamed with Damage CTRL and Piper Niven to take on Asuka, Becky Lynch, Bianca Belair, Candice LeRae & Nikki Cross. Her most recent match on television took place six days earlier when she was pinned by Bianca Belair on Raw.
