Suggestions Carmella Has “Heat” Addressed By WWE

Carmella Hits Asuka

Carmella has been absent from WWE television in recent weeks but it is not because of any backstage heat says a new report.

Carmella was originally set to compete on the 20th of March edition of Monday Night Raw with her and Chelsea Green set to face off with Asuka and Raw Women’s Champion Bianca Belair. On the show, the former SmackDown Women’s Champion was replaced by Piper Niven who teamed with Green instead but her absence wasn’t addressed.

Fightful Select reported that Carmella was also pulled from WWE live events over the weekend and therefore the decision was taken to remove her from Raw but there is no indication as of yet why this happened.

Since her absence, Chelsea Green has teamed with Sonya Deville to qualify for the women’s WrestleMania Showcase match that will take place in on The Grandest Stage of Them All.

Fightful Select has again reported on the situation noting that Carmella is slated to be in LA for WrestleMania and should appear at the Make A Wish event as well as the Be A Star Rally.

The report also notes that WWE sources addressed rumours that the star had “heat” in the company, dismissing such talk as “ridiculous.” When Carmella is set to return to WWE screens remains to be seen.
