The Judgment Day’s Carlito Wins New Championship
Carlito has added a fourth title to the Judgment Day faction.
He is now a title-holder alongside Dominik Mysterio (Intercontinental Champion) and the pair of Liv Morgan and Raquel Rodriguez (WWE Women’s Tag Team Champions).
It is noteworthy that the former United States Champion’s title win has not come within the WWE.
Multiple news reports recently suggested that the company had struck a partnership with Puerto Rico’s World Wrestling Council (WWC), a promotion owned by Carlito’s father.
It was only last month when WWC announced Carlito’s return to the company in two years. It had worked out a deal with Raw General Manager Adam Pearce that allowed the Puerto Rican wrestler to wrestle elsewhere.
The WWE wrestler faced Ray Gonzalez at the 2025 WWC Summer Madness on Saturday to win the Puerto Rico Championship.

Carlito last worked on his father’s promotion in June 2023. His newest title reign is his second in WWC, following his first in 2014.
Carlito Talks Retirement From Professional Wrestling
Despite getting his hands on gold recently, the 46-year-old knows his retirement from wrestling is near.
While speaking with Alistair McGeorge of Metro, he said:
Your body sometimes lets you know. Who knows? But I know it’s coming.
Carlito also reflected on his current time with the Judgment Day and WWE.
Just having fun, man. And with what time I’ve got left, just giving it whatever I can.
Carlito made his full-time return to WWE at Backlash 2023, as part of the Latino World Order (LWO) before aligning with the Judgment Day in 2024.
