Why Carlito Was More Hurt By R-Truth’s WWE Exit Than His Own

Former WWE star Carlito has explained why R-Truth’s apparent exit from the company hurt worse than his own.

The wrestling world was stunned when it emerged WWE was not renewing R-Truth’s contract, and his time in the company was coming to an end. The shocks kept on coming when Carlito also revealed that he was on his way out of WWE with his contract coming to an end in a matter of a couple of weeks.

Carlito has now officially left WWE, but things changed very quickly for R-Truth as he made a shock return at Money In The Bank. The formerly goofy star has taken on a more serious tone as he now wants to be known as Ron Killings and is urging everyone to put some respect on his name.

Carlito Happy For R-Truth After WWE U-Turn

Speaking on Busted Open Radio, Carlito explained why he felt worse for R-Truth than himself when news of their impending exits broke:

Honestly, I felt worse for Truth if it wasn’t a work, I felt worse for Truth. There’s some certain guys that I think should have a proper send off, you know what I mean? I mean, everybody’s time comes, you can’t keep everybody forever, but at least some guys deserve a proper send off. So I was glad to see things worked out for him.
