Candice LeRae Reveals WrestleMania Dream Match
Candice LeRae has shared what her WrestleMania dream match would look like and what fellow WWE Raw wrestler it would involve.
It was the September 26th episode of Raw when Candice LeRae made her unadvertised debut on the WWE main roster. Candice is married to fellow Raw wrestler Johnny Gargano and she gave birth to their son in February 2022.
In 2021, LeRae’s contract expired. Her wrestling future was unknown. However, when Triple H took over the WWE creative team in late July from Vince McMahon, it led to several former NXT superstars showing up on WWE programming. That led to Gargano’s WWE Raw debut in late August and one month later, Candice was there as well.
During a recent interview with Muscle Man Malcolm, the veteran “Poison Pixie” LeRae talked about how teaming up with her husband is her WrestleMania dream match.
“I can tell you that my ultimate goal I would love, love, love to have a mixed tag match at WrestleMania with me and Johnny versus I mean it could be anybody but I’m just going to say there’s like Edge and Beth would be pretty awesome. I keep putting this out there because I’m hoping. Then Seth (Rollins) and Becky (Lynch) would be really awesome too.”
LeRae also commented on what it was like for her to be back in WWE after giving birth earlier in 2022.
“It’s different leaving. I’m a homebody. I really like being home but obviously, my job entails travel. We wanted to make sure that we cherished every moment that we could with him once he was born. That’s why we both just like we’re taking time off and leaving it at that. We’re hoping eventually to be able to bring him with us but we want to be able to kind of get ourselves used to it before we bring him. It is definitely different there’s a lot more to think about like packing before I leave and trying to make sure he’s all situated. It’s a longer process to get ready but it’s worth it.”
