Bryan Danielson “Scared” Of What AEW Star Will Add To Anarchy In The Arena

AEW’s biggest daredevil is scaring Bryan Danielson.

At Double or Nothing, Bryan Danielson will team with FTR and Darby Allin to defend the honour of AEW. With tensions in the company almost out of control, the quartet will come together to take on The Young Bucks, Kazuchika Okada, and Jack Perry in Anarchy In The Arena.

Allin wasn’t originally scheduled to be in the match, but he was a late replacement for Eddie Kingston who broke his leg at AEW Resurgence.

Speaking ahead of the match with Sports Illustrated, Bryan Danielson broke down what he expects from the chaotic encounter. While the American Dragon is looking to test Okada, he’s a little scared of what Darby Allin could bring to the match.

“The wildness and anarchy in this match, it’s really awesome,” he said. “You can be fighting out in the crowd with a world-class professional wrestler, like [Kazuchika] Okada. For as great as he is, we really don’t know what he’s like as a brawler.

I kind of know what FTR will bring to the match, and I know what the Young Bucks will bring to the match. I’m not sure what Jack Perry will bring to the match. Honestly, I’m a little scared of what Darby is going to bring to the match.”

Bryan Danielson Admits He Needs Surgery

Speaking elsewhere, Bryan Danielson revealed he’s been told by doctors he needs surgery. The star said he’s banged up following his match with Will Ospreay at Dynasty, where he landed on his head and neck while delivering a Frankensteiner off the top rope.

Danielson said he’s got shooting pains down his arm, but as long as he retains his strength, he should be able to avoid going under the knife.
