Bryan Danielson Picked To Win AEW Title By WWE Hall Of Famer

Bryan Danielson with hands raised on AEW Dynamite

Jeff Jarrett is confident that Bryan Danielson will walk out of AEW All In as a champion.

As Bryan Danielson approaches the end of his full-time wrestling career, he has admitted that his body is already working against him and recently predicted that he will need neck surgery in the near future. Despite these issues, at All In, The American Dragon will get one more shot at glory when he challenges Swerve Strickland for the AEW World Championship.

One man who had his doubts the star was ready to go all in at Wembley was Jeff Jarrett, who told Danielson that while he believed in him, he had to give the match everything he had. The pair went on to have an Anything Goes match on the August 7th edition of Dynamite and it looks like Danielson’s victory has convinced Jarrett that he’s ready to go.

On the latest edition of his podcast, My World, Jarrett explained that he believes Danielson is someone who always rises to the occasion, and All In will be no different.

“I almost don’t want to give a prediction because mine is biased. You know Conrad, when I think back — and I was gonna say, I guess the moment was Calgary. When I was at ringside and watching him and Hangman in the finals, I don’t want to say it started all of this but it was kind of, in a way, the launching point that the match was made and everything like that.

“I saw first-hand the pain in Bryan’s eyes. He works through pain and he recently made the comment about work needing to be done on his body. I just don’t see him going out, and I’m not going to say it’s a guarantee that he’s going out, but it certainly looks that way.

“I’m going to vote on Bryan going out a winner. How do you bet against a guy with his track record? I know his big matches since arriving in AEW have not had the best win-loss record, but when you take a step back and the different things…

“Going into my single with him, I did some tape study, true story. When look back on the progression of Bryan, Bryan always rises the occasion. I’m not sure Swerve understands that. I really don’t. I don’t think Swerve understands that. He certainly has been in big high-profile matches, he’s never been on the stage of Wembley to defend it. Bryan has been in the biggest of big stages. I don’t see him going out a loser.”

Bryan Danielson Confirms He Is Not Under AEW Contract

Bryan Danielson has admitted he is no longer under AEW contract. The star first mentioned his contract status back in July, saying it was due to expire on August 1st. While many expected him to sign a new part-time or backstage deal, that hasn’t been the case, as he has confirmed he is now working without a contract as he heads into the main event of the company’s biggest show of the year.
