Bryan Danielson Claims One Thing Could Get Him Fired From AEW
Bryan Danielson might seem untouchable in AEW, but he’s now admitted there is one thing that could get him fired.
Such is Bryan Danielson’s standing in AEW that he was entrusted to lead the disciplinary committee that made the tough choice to recommend CM Punk be fired following his All In altercation with Jack Perry in 2023.
Bryan Danielson looks to have left his in-ring days behind him and has taken up a new full-time role with Tony Khan’s company, which began on the September 10th edition of Dynamite.
Danielson has joined the Dynamite commentary team alongside Excalibur and Taz on a permanent basis. Previously, Danielson had appeared as a guest commentator but took his absence from the announce table during Death Riders matches due to his long history with Jon Moxley and the group that betrayed him in 2024.
Bryan Danielson Has To Behave On Commentary
However, now that he is a permanent fixture on the announce desk, he’s got to call their action as well. Dynamite saw the Death Riders team with The Young Bucks in a ten-man tag team match with $500k on the line. Danielson was asked to stay calm when Moxley’s crew entered the arena, but The American Dragon noted he had no choice, as Tony Khan had warned him that he’d be fired on the spot if he put his hands on an active AEW wrestler on the show.
The reality is that, rather than being a serious threat, this is a clever way of explaining why Bryan Danielson has to co-exist in the same space as the people who ended his in-ring career in 2024.
Jon Moxley had another trick up his sleeve on Dynamite as he was attacked after his match by his All Out opponent, Darby Allin. Daniel Garcia shocked everyone by laying out Allin and delivering a stomp onto a steel chair. Garcia left with Moxley and the Death Riders as he now looks to be a fully fledged member of the group.
