Bryan Danielson Facing Japanese Legend On AEW Collision

Bryan Danielson AEW

Bryan Danielson is set to go one-on-one with a Japanese legend familiar to AEW fans on the 27th of January edition of Collision.

Bryan Danielson is no stranger to fighting the best competition Japan has to offer as he recently faced off with Kazuchika Okada at Wrestle Kingdom where The Rainmaker picked up the win. Danielson and Okada could be in the ring again sooner rather than later with Kazuchika Okada revealing that he is leaving NJPW imminently.

Now The American Dragon will have another Japanese legend to contend with on Collision in Bossier City as he goes one-on-one with former IWGP Heavyweight Champion Yuji Nagata.

Nagata competed recently in the NJPW World Tag League with Minoru Suzuki and has been in an AEW ring before when he challenged Jon Moxley for the IWGP US Title in May 2021.

Bryan Danielson Looking To Bounce Back

Bryan Danielson has suffered some high-profile losses in recent months. In addition to losing to Okada at Wrestle Kingdom, Danielson also missed out on a place in the Continental Classic final after losing to Eddie Kingston.

AEW Collision will also see a huge cage match take place as the House of Black faces off with FTR and Daniel Garcia. It might be a tough night in the ratings for AEW, however, as Collision goes head-to-head with the WWE Royal Rumble.
