What Bryan Danielson Told Eddie Kingston After Failed AEW Title Shot

Has peace finally broken out between hated rivals Eddie Kingston and Bryan Danielson?

Eddie Kingston doesn’t mind holding a grudge and has made no bones about his dislike of Bryan Danielson and CM Punk stemming from issues on the independent scene from years ago. While Kingston might not be writing Christmas cards to Danielson or Punk, his feelings towards them pale into insignificance compared to how much he hates Claudio Castagnoli.

But things might be changing.

Bryan Danielson Thinks Eddie Kingston Can Be AEW World Champion

At Dynamite Winter Is Coming, Eddie Kingston got his chance at revenge and gold when he challenged Samoa Joe for the AEW World Championship. Kingston had taken HOOK under his wing in recent weeks after he was apparently ousted from The Opps. However, HOOK proved to be a double agent, screwing Adam Page out of the AEW World Championship to give Joe his second reign as champion.

Kingston failed to capture the title from Joe, and after Dynamite went off the air, he shared a special moment with Bryan Danielson. Kingston began by jokingly calling the American Dragon a “son of a b*tch” before noting that they were friends now.

Danielson, though, had a more serious message to send and seemed to take Kingston by total surprise when he told Kingston that he loved him. Bryan Danielson admitted he had been a doubter of Eddie Kingston, but now sees that Kingston has more heart than anyone in professional wrestling and that Danielson believes in him.
