Bryan Danielson Jokes About Writing Book “Why Men Are The Best”

Bryan Danielson

Bryan Danielson is known as a very serious pro wrestler, but sometimes he has some pretty funny observations about life too.

Over the past 20+ years, Bryan Danielson has been known as one of the greatest pro wrestlers in the world. Whether he was a top guy in Ring of Honor or having a decade of greatness in WWE as Daniel Bryan, he has been a main-event-level performer that is destined many Hall of Fames one day.

Since joining AEW in September 2021, Bryan Danielson has reminded everybody just how good he can be with memorable matches against the best the company has to offer like former AEW World Champions such as Jon Moxley, “Hangman” Adam Page, Kenny Omega, Chris Jericho and many others.

At AEW Revolution earlier this month, Bryan Danielson had one of the greatest matches of his career against MJF for the AEW World Title. They had a 60-Minute Iron Man Match that went five additional minutes with MJF finding a way to win by a score of 4-3.

During an appearance on the Unconsciously Coupled podcast with his wife Brie Garcia (fka Brie Bella), the couple talked about their lives as parents of a daughter and son. Bryan Danielson also spoke about how he loves to sleep very early.

“I love going to sleep by 8:15. I want to be asleep by 8:15. I feel like, especially this time of year, it’s easier because it gets dark so early. I’ve never drank in my life. I’ve never associated night time with fun time. I’ve always associated daytime with fun things. During the day, you can go hiking. You can do this or that. Night time, what’s there to do at night time? I guess, watch TV. I don’t really watch shows.”

As Bryan continued, he spoke about how his wife watches TV loudly while he tries to sleep.

“She watches, right next to me, her show, on full blast. What I do, when I want to go to sleep or read or whatever, I put on headphones. I put on an eye mask. I go out of my way to make her life more convenient. How easy would it be for her to put on headphones, because she’s watching it on her iPad anyway, how easy would it be for her to put on headphones? It’s not on the TV.”

There was some laughter at that point with the hosts Erinn and Oliver Hudson along with Brie as Bryan Danielson spoke about wanting to write a book.

“I want to write this book. It’s called, ‘Why Men Are The Best: The History Of The Stronger, Faster, Smarter, Overall Better Sex.’ I say it, jokingly, because everyone who knows me and knows us, she’s the one on the bed watching her shows with no headphones, and I’m just the one trying to sleep, and I have my headphones on, but she’s the one who runs the show.”

Some men might suggest “She’s The One Who Runs The Show” as a good book title as well. Just saying.
