Bryan Danielson Attacked By First AEW World Title Challenger

Bryan Danielson AEW World Title

One AEW star has wasted no time in staking their claim for Bryan Danielson’s AEW World Championship as they laid out the new champion on Dynamite.

Bryan Danielson won the AEW World Championship at All In as he also put his career on the line in a huge main event against Swerve Strickland.

Danielson’s future in the company had been in some doubt with the American Dragon previously making very clear that 2024 was to be his last year as a full-time wrestler. On Dynamite in Champaign, Illinois, Bryan Danielson addressed his future and revealed he has no intention to retire while still AEW World Champion.

Jack Perry Wants Bryan Danielson & AEW World Title

Bryan Danielson told the world that when he loses that title, however, his full-time career will end. Danielson vowed to be a fighting champion and told the rest of the AEW locker room that it was first come, first served for a shot at the gold.

That prompted a video to play featuring TNT Champion Jack Perry who noted that as the man who pinned Danielson in Anarchy In The Arena, he should get a title shot at All Out. However, the video was merely a distraction as Perry jumped Danielson from behind before holding up both the AEW World and TNT Title belts.

No match has yet been confirmed between the two men for the title at All Out. Danielson knows that he will also have to contend with both Darby Allin and Christian Cage in the future as they also have guaranteed shots at the AEW World Championship.
