Bryan Danielson Has Freak Accident At Rampage Taping
Bryan Danielson suffered a freak accident at the May 18th AEW Rampage taping, leaving him limping to the back.
After the May 18th episode of AEW Dynamite, the company held their weekly taping for the Friday episode of Rampage which will air on May 20th.
During the event, Bryan Danielson teamed with Jon Moxley to take on the duo of Matt Sydal and Dante Martin, who had challenged the Blackpool Combat Club earlier in the night on Dynamite.
Following the bout, Danielson and Moxley were assaulted by the Jericho Appreciation Society, who they are currently embroiled in a feud with. During the fight, Danielson somehow got his leg trapped between the entrance ramp and the ring. The American Dragon was stuck in that position for ten minutes before finally being freed. Once back on his feet, Danielson limped backstage, although it is not believed that he is seriously injured.
Speaking on Wrestling Observer Radio, Bryan Alvarez gave an update on the incident, saying that he believed that it had been a “work.” He explained that Danielson is fine, and everyone laughed about the bizarre accident later on.

On the latest episode of Dynamite, the Jericho Appreciation Society met with the Blackpool Combat Club, Eddie Kingston, and Santana & Ortiz.
With tensions at an all-time high between the factions, things got very personal. Jericho spoke of Regal’s previous battles with addiction, accusing the legend of wasting any talent he had, while being fired from every company he had ever been in.
The Wizard also claimed Bryan Danielson was boring, saying that he would soon be having “disco biscuits” shoved down his throat by Regal and joining Moxley in an alcohol treatment program.
Regal didn’t take these shots lying down and hit back by claiming that, since 1997, whenever Jericho was out wrestling, he had put the Sports Entertainer’s toothbrush “up his bottom.”
