“Brutal” & “No Heat” – WWE SmackDown Match Blasted
One WWE SmackDown match has been dismissed as “brutal” as the stars involved struggled to get the best out of each other.
Evolution is on the horizon, but WWE has been forced to make major changes for that show. Liv Morgan suffered a shoulder injury, with Roxanne Perez being named as her replacement as one-half of the WWE Women’s Tag Team Champions.
Perez and Raquel Rodriguez will put that title on the line at Evolution against three different teams. On the July 4th edition of SmackDown, a three-way match took place pitting B-Fab & Michin, the Secret Hervice, and Charlotte Flair & Alexa Bliss.
Bliss has been trying to engineer a friendship with Flair in recent weeks, and in the end, they proved successful with Bliss picking up the win for her team.
WWE SmackDown Match Panned
Speaking on Wrestling Observer Radio, Dave Meltzer gave his forthright opinion on the match, claiming that everything was too mechanical from start to finish:
This match was brutal. It was bad, really bad. They were very mechanical almost throughout the entire match, the finish was good. But the match itself, no heat and just trying to get something out of B-Fab with Charlotte Flair, that was real, real tough. Even with Secret Hervice, not that great, that’s an overstatement, it was not good.
