Why Bronson Reed May Be Seth Rollins’ Next Challenger

Seth Rollins’ Vision stablemate, Bronson Reed, defeated Roman Reigns at WWE Crown Jewel on Saturday.

Reigns and Reed opened the premium live event in Perth, Australia, with an Australian Street Fight match. Since there was no disqualification, Bron Breakker tried to interfere to tip the scales in his Vision stablemate Reed’s favor. However, The Usos came out to aid their Tribal Chief.

But things didn’t go as planned, and Jimmy and Jey Uso accidentally cost Reigns the match. Jey Uso tried to put Reed through the table, but hit Reigns instead, which gave the heel contender enough time to nail a Tsunami on his opponent and pick up the victory.

Following the loss, Roman Reigns was visibly frustrated with his cousins and was seen reprimanding them. He was disappointed with them for costing him a match and asked them to stay away from him until Christmas.

Reed picking up a win over Reigns, who is a top guy in WWE, speaks volumes about his star power. Speaking on the matter, WWE star Big E stated on the Crown Jewel post-show that Reed’s victory over Reigns has allowed him to become a main event worthy guy, who could even shoot his shot for a World title.

This means he could challenge his Vision leader, Seth Rollins, for the World Heavyweight Championship on RAW (but that’s highly unlikely right now, given their current storyline alliance). Reed could also go for Cody Rhodes’ Undisputed WWE Title if he chooses.

“I think he essentially has the golden ticket. If you pin Roman Reigns, if he wants a world title shot tomorrow, he should be able to have that. He should be able to skip the line. It means that much,” Big E said.

Seth Rollins Should Face John Cena

Like Bronson Reed, Seth Rollins was also victorious in his Crown Jewel battle against Cody Rhodes. He beat The American Nightmare to win the Men’s Crown Jewel Championship.

Rollins took a huge step forward in his WWE career by defeating the Undisputed WWE Champion, and wrestling journalist Sam Roberts feels The Visionary should wrestle John Cena next and beat The never Seen 17 to establish himself as the GOAT in WWE.

If he’s [Seth Rollins] not going straight to a Roman Reigns or a CM Punk, the next step could be building towards this space where, ‘Okay if you’re the greatest of all time, prove it. Can you beat the greatest of all time, John Cena? … Seth Rollins has to be the greatest of all time. And in order to do that, he has to beat John Cena. He has to face John Cena one more time. And he has to beat John Cena in John Cena’s final year. (From 12:02 to 12:45)
