Bronson Reed Was Considered Priority WWE Signing By Triple H
A new report has indicated that bringing Bronson Reed back to WWE was considered a priority by Triple H.
On the 19th of December 2022 edition of Monday Night Raw, The Miz and Dexter Lumis sought to end their long-running feud in a ‘winner take all match’ with a substantial sum of money on the line. This was no ordinary match however as the two stars competed in a ladder match as they attempted to retrieve the bags of cash hanging above the ring.
When all looked lost for The Miz, Bronson Reed stunned everybody when he appeared and took Dexter Lumis out as Lumis was climbing the ladder. Reed then held the ladder in place for The Miz to ascend and take possession of the money once and for all. Following his appearance, Reed broke his silence on his decision to return to WWE.
Now Fightful Select has reported that after Triple H’s rise to power in July 2022 following the retirement of Vince McMahon as WWE Chairman, Bronson Reed was made a “priority hire.”
Reed had been competing in NJPW as JONAH after his initial release from WWE in August 2021. The report states that Bronson Reed has signed a contract with WWE and it is not believed to currently contain provisions for him to return to NJPW in the same way as Karl Anderson has been allowed to do.
Reed had not competed since losing to Kazuchika Okada at NJPW Declaration of Power in early October and some believe it “was no accident” that Reed had been absent from the ring for so long before his WWE return.
