Bron Breakker To Remain “Somewhat Neutral” As He Moves Into Main Event
A new report has given an update on how WWE will utilise Bron Breakker going forward.
From the moment Bron Breakker stepped onto WWE television back in September 2021, fans and industry observers have been tipping him for being things. Not only that, but WWE seems to see nothing but huge potential in the second-generation star.
To date, Breakker has already won the NXT Championship twice as well as the NXT Tag Team Titles and the Dusty Rhodes Tag Team Classic with Baron Corbin. The star is currently enjoying his second run with the Intercontinental Title after emerging as a dominant force on Raw.
Although Breakker was initially presented as a babyface, he’s found success more recently as a heel. However, that persona has softened in recent months, something that looks set to continue.
Bron Breakker To Continue As A Tweener
According to a new report via WrestleVotes Radio on SportsKeeda’s Backstage Pass Patreon, Breakker will continue to occupy the grey area between babyface and heel as he continues his rise into the main event.
Joey Votes stated, “Another thing that we’re hearing is some interesting character development notes, as a source within creative has told us the plan for Bron Breakker going forward is to remain somewhat neutral.
As far as heel and babyface tendency go, there seems to be a plan in place, where in the ring, Breakker can portray the heel-ish side, but as a promo, can lean into the crowd as more of a babyface with his signature dog bark that leads to heavy crowd participation.
Breakker, who has spent time as both a traditional heel and face in his short career, gets the chance here to play the bit of a tweener character as he ascends up the ladder towards the main event.
Back in October, it was reported there was a great deal of excitement backstage in WWE following a staredown between Bron Breakker and Jacob Fatu. While it was noted there were no plans for the pair to work together in the short term, those in creative believe they’ve “stumbled onto something big”
Fatu is yet to have a singles match on WWE television, but the star is expected to be a player in the main event picture for years to come.
