Bron Breakker Preparing For Biggest WWE Test
Bron Breakker is preparing for the match of his life.
At Saturday Night’s Main Event, Bron Breakker will put the Intercontinental Championship on the line against Sheamus. While Breakker has been in typically dominant form since winning the gold back in October, his illustrious opponent is a man on a mission.
The Intercontinental Title is the only major WWE Title Sheamus has never won, and he’s determined to put that right.
Elsewhere on the special, Gunther will put his World Heavyweight Title on the line against Jey Uso, while Rhea Ripley defends her Women’s World Title against Nia Jax.
Bron Breakker Is Ready
Ahead of the match with Breakker, Sheamus said he’s embracing his reputation as one of WWE’s tough guys, claiming he’s proud of being physical in the ring. But by the same token, he expects his opponents to hit him back just as hard.
During an appearance on the Pacman Jones show, Breakker acknowledged the physical challenge ahead of him, admitting the match will be the toughest of his Intercontinental Title reign to date.
“It’s going to take a lot. This is probably my toughest test yet as a champion because Sheamus has got 15 years of experience on me in this game. He’s a vet, man. He’s been around a long time. He’s been WWE Champion. He’s been at the top. So, he gets it.
This is the only championship that he hasn’t won. I know he’s been after this thing for a long time. So that’s what he wants. That’s his story.”
Speaking elsewhere, Bron Breakker recalled being left heartbroken by Brock Lesnar breaking The Undertaker’s WrestleMania streak.
