Brody King has given a special thank you to Tony Khan.

During a media call ahead of All Out on September 20, Khan was asked by Jonathan Ore of CBC about AEW positioning itself in a very different way from WWE. Although Cody Rhodes has claimed WWE is a “non-partisan brand,” it has several close public ties to Donald Trump and the United States government.

In response, Tony Khan said that he believed it’s important to allow talents to be their “authentic selves.” He added that while he wants his stars to feel comfortable being themselves, pro wrestling and putting on the best events will always be his primary focus.

During the post-All Out press conference, King was asked about King was asked about the importance of being able to take a stand by Fightful’s Joe Pearl.

“It’s really important to be able to express your voice with whatever platform you have in life. To have a boss who lets that happen. I don’t think any of us are going out there and doing anything that would damage the reputation of the company or damage the reputation of Tony.

Everything that people like myself, Hangman, or others who have said something in the past or done is all for the betterment of humanity in general. It’s amazing to be part of this company, and thank you, Tony, for letting us be the way we are.”

At All Out, Brody King and Bandido successfully defended the AEW World Tag team Championship in a wild Ladder Match against The Young Bucks, JetSpeed and Hechicero & Josh Alexander.
