Brodido Lose World Tag Team Championship At AEW Full Gear
AEW has many talented tag teams at its disposal, with some of the best ones currently part of the roster. It was evident at the Full Gear 2025 as three separate tag team matches were scheduled for the night.
While the Timeless Love Bombs moved a tiny step closer to winning the Women’s World Tag Team Championship tournament tonight, their bout was followed by Brodido’s defense of the Men’s Tag Team Titles.
The current AEW World Tag Team Champions, Brody King and Bandido, put their belts on the line against one of the best teams in the world, FTR. Dax and Cash were already two-time champions heading into the match and looked to become three-time champions.
FTR became joint-most successful Tag Team in AEW history
Both teams pushed each other to the limit as the match saw multiple near-falls from both sides. At one point, it seemed like the fans were being given their first title change of the night as FTR hit Bandido with the Shatter Machine, but Brody King save the match in the nick of the time.
After being left frustrated with their efforts, Cash Wheeler looked to use the belts to his team’s advantage but Brody tried to stop hi. In the scuffle, Wheeler inadvertently hit Bandido with the belt but the Mexican wrestler kicked out from that as well.

Another couple of close calls followed for both FTR and Brodido but nothing seemed to separate the two sides. However, FTR continued their assault on both Bandido and Brody King and weakend the wrestlers. They hit one final Shatter Machine on Bandido and sealed the win for themselves, becoming three-time AEW World Tag Team Champions.
