Brock Lesnar’s WWE Summer Schedule Revealed
Brock Lesnar and Cody Rhodes seem destined for one more match and now Lesnar’s upcoming WWE schedule appears to reveal where that bout will take place.
The issues between Brock Lesnar and Cody Rhodes began on the Raw after WrestleMania 39 when Lesnar double-crossed Rhodes moments before the pair were set to face Roman Reigns and Solo Sikoa in a tag team bout.
That led to a one-on-one match at Backlash where Lesnar appeared to have the upper hand with Rhodes locked in the Kimura, however, Rhodes used his weight to roll Lesnar up and pick up the pinfall win.
On Raw in Hershey, PA, Brock Lesnar remained incensed at Rhodes, attacking him in the backstage area one week after challenging him to a fight at Night of Champions. Rhodes didn’t take things lying down however and went after Lesnar later in the night only to have his arm broken in the Kimura submission.
Despite the injury, Cody Rhodes still fought Lesnar in Saudi Arabia but in the end, he couldn’t overcome the broken arm and passed out locked in the Kimura once again. Cody Rhodes isn’t done with Lesnar by any means however and has issued a challenge – so far unanswered – for a rubber match with The Beast Incarnate.
Reports suggest that the match is set for SummerSlam in Detroit and PWInsider has now reported that Brock Lesnar is currently advertised for three Raws leading up to that huge event in Ford Field on the 5th of August.
Lesnar is scheduled to be at Raw in Baltimore, MD on the 3rd of July and again two weeks later on the 17th of July in Atlanta, GA. The former WWE Champion is also advertised for the go-home edition of Raw before SummerSlam on the 31st of July in Houston, TX.
